DiaSYS is an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited food and beverage testing laboratory based in Canada. We provide advanced analytical testing services to help companies meet Health Canada regulatory requirements, ensure product quality, and safeguard public health.
Our comprehensive food lab services include the identification of foodborne pathogens, allergens, pesticide residues, contaminants, shelf-life testing, and nutrition facts panel analysis. We also offer routine microbiological monitoring to support your quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs in alignment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The Analytical Microbiology Department at DiaSYS Laboratory specializes in the enumeration and identification of a wide range of microorganisms. We test for both pathogenic and non-pathogenic indicator organisms, including those specified by Health Canada. Prior to product release, we conduct thorough microbiological testing, including:
- Total Aerobic Bacterial Count
- Escherichia coli (E. coli)
- Salmonella spp.
- Pseudomonas spp.
- Staphylococcus spp.
- Yeast and Mold
We also screen for pesticide residues, toxic metals, and other potential adulterants.
